As of this moment, I will be working on building a partnered YouTube channel. I want to do this because as it is I make only $11 an hour being a CNA. There will be no opportunity for me to ever get a raise because the nursing home I work at is owned by a big corporate outfit that only cares about money and not what they should be caring about. I'd go back to school but I don't have the money and I can't get financial aid because they want your parent's tax information and they could look at my dad's income and say that he could pay for me to go to school but he won't! I don't qualify for any scholarships because I never did anything in school so that's out.

I'm almost barely making ends meet what with my car payment, car insurance, buying toiletries and etc. and also MY FUCKING MOTHER USING MY DEBIT CARD TO MAKE PURCHASES ON HER MOBILE GAMES AND OTHER SHIT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. SHE'D BEEN DOING IT SINCE JUNE AND I ONLY FOUND OUT ABOUT IT LIKE A WEEK OR SO AGO!!

So she's left me pretty well in the red right now and I need extra income. Also, I don't think I can be a CNA anymore because all I do is bust my ass for 12 hours a shift and I don't get any appreciation for it. Not in pay or anything else. Plus, I'll just be hurting myself in the long run lifting people and whatnot. I still live at home but I also want to work on moving out and finding my own place. Making under $1,400 a month isn't cutting it anymore.

What I want to ask of all of you is to subscribe to my channel: Princess Cillerenda
I have 31 subs and need 1,000+ (if I'm correct that's the minimum number of subs you need to be partnered.) Please spread this around. Tell your friends, family, whoever! I don't have much content right now but I'm working on it!

I really hate to do this but it's the only thing I can think of doing right now. I might even start a Patreon too.

I have been a CNA so I feel your pain. I ended up getting 9.50 an hr trying to make rent as well as insurance (thankfully the best part of older model cars is PAID for. A beautiful thing when you get there). I feel the pain about the parents income, they still ask for that even when you are OVER 30 and haven't lived with your parents for 10+ years,

Most nursing homes are difficult, if at all possible try to locate a nearby hospital. Some are always looking for CNA's. Also, home health care is an option for some flexibility in hours while trying to get into work. Scholarships may not cut it but possible options are grants for pursing vocational training (LPN counts dammit). Most of them don't give a crap about your parent's income if you are using your own. Also, change your card number and change all your passwords. Do not save the new ones to anything. That can help out with what was happening with your card. Those game charges do add up to hundreds in the end if someone isn't careful.

Home health care does usually allow more one on one time, so you do get to see how your client's and their families do appreciate the help they get, but nursing homes are the worst for it. There are people who appreciate what you do, especially if you bust your ass to do your job right. Walking belts and never lifting more than 50lbs on your own are must to save your back. Do not be afraid to get help, even if that means getting the LPN or Charge Nurse to come help you rather than risk both your safety and the residents.

Good luck dear, I have felt your pain. It does get better.
